With the launch of the iPhone 4 imminent and the chance to pre-order it on most networks here in the UK tomorrow will this finally tip the balance of Apple from a niche company for media professionals and early adopters to a mass market, high street brand?
Some may argue that Apple is already a household name but not until recently has the company really bridged the gap between gadget creator of the media professional and geek to that of parents and teens alike.
Although this is good for the bank balance of Apple, recently overtaking Microsoft in terms of company value with the benefit of over $20 billion in the bank, there is a danger that what made Apple so popular in recent years will have been lost and the users who follow the gospel according to Jobs will desert the mainstream incarnation of Apple. This could spell hard times ahead without a passionate following of hard core fanatics to not only praise the company and it’s products but who live and breathe what Apple stands for, or at least what it used to stand for.

and he means business this time.
Just last week his Album (Recovery) hit my desktop and it really is a return to form for the rapper. Apart from his first single Not Afraid the stand out track has to be his collaboration with Rihanna called “Love the way you lie”. It’s an amazingly dark track and Rihanna’s unique voice blends perfectly with the pained tones of Eminem.
